Happy Mum’s Day!
My persistent love of stripes has evolved into a devotion to geometric prints. Particularly structured prints mixed with flowing fabrics. The bolder the better. If you could slap the Chrysler building on a silk top, I’d be all over that shizznit.
I’ve never been a big handbag person, but since my foray into consignment retail, I’ve come to respect them as a unifying touch. In my humble shop, handbags outsell other items by far. Like stretch pants, they don’t betray you. Observe the multitude of ladies at the mall pairing their Coach bags with Old Navy stretch pants. I’m not saying that I agree, just that I understand.
I’m still not moved to run out and drop $400 on a purse. And my tastes lie in more unique indie brands versus popular designers. But back to my original thought – what better way to display your new geometric pattern obsession than with a handbag? This little clutch utterly exhibits my new-found respect for geometric prints, purses, and independent spirit.
