Yes, this is YET ANOTHER POST ABOUT BEACHWEAR. I can’t help it. I’m so desirous of the beach I believe I could Jedi mind trick draw my name on the sands of the Cote D’Azur.

But what prompted this post was a digital “ultimate beach checklist” on Lucky Magazine online. Yes, I get tons of emails from them and I click on them. Click. Click. Click. It got me thinking about what I would bring to the beach in my fantasy world. I prefer, as this blog evidences, to live in a dream world of oceanic colors, vintage inspired designs, samba and light fruity cocktails during the summer. And I am lusting after a Mediterranean climate. Although I will take Turks and Caicos. I would not thumb my nose at the T&C. Or Rio. Or Curacao.

I embarked on a recent hunt for eye shadows to fill my new Urban Decay build-your-own palette. I quested for one wild color to compliment my mostly neutral choices. I had a wicked jones to add a shimmering blue shade. After agonizing over the options, I asked one of the Sephora ladies which of the numerous swatches on my hand she’d pick. She took one look at me and remarked “I wouldn’t put a blue on you.” So I punched her in the face.

All apologies for my absence! I’ve been planning a private shopping event and fashion show for my little boutique and have not had time for much otherwise. But! This also means I’ve been squirreling away the cash, waiting for that perfect thing to fall in love with. Incidental savings: I haven’t had as much time to shop around.
