Since losing weight and leaving a corporate job, I have steadily been rebuilding my wardrobe. And I realize just how terrible I am at doing so. I buy on love vs. need; a method that has abandoned me in fashion no-man’s land. You see, when you only have a small number of pieces to choose from and they are all as batsh*t crazy as these shoes, you end up with nada to wear on a daily basis.

Now, I don’t own these shoes, but I love them. Which means I’m thinking about them. They are one part tribal, one part tiki, and one part nautical. That’s three parts utter lunacy. Continue reading

Didn’t you see it coming, dear friends? All the broken promises? All the pining for expensive things I cannot pull the trigger on because I bought 5 cheap things instead? You knew I couldn’t do it. But like the girlfriend who sits back while your loser boyfriend wastes away on your couch, making you fat with delivery pizza, and then HE cheats on YOU (not directly after pizza, but in general), you listened and said nothing until I could figure things out for myself. Thank you.
